Margaret “Peggy” S. Siedzikowski
October 14, 1945 -February 21, 2021 (age 75)

Peggy Siedzikowski (née Leonard), age 75, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2021.

Born in Delaware County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Leonard and Nora Mae Leonard (née Fenton).

Peggy resided most of her childhood in Parkside and Chester PA. She graduated from Sun Valley High School and the Chubb’s Institute where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Business. In her younger days she was a member of the Parkside Fire Company where she marched as a baton twirler in many parades

Peggy was a devoted, mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She spent most of her life working in the hospitality industry, waitressing, serving as a country club manager, front desk manager, and handling other administrative work. She was a dedicated and loyal worker throughout her entire life. She enjoyed time living in Wildwood, NJ for 10+ years.

She loved spending time with family and friends. Some of her happiest moments were at holiday gatherings, parades, sporting events, BBQs, and day trips. She especially enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at their various sporting events. Peggy was an avid reader, Penn State fan, Mummers aficionado, and loved animals. Anything Disney made her smile! Her dog Maggie Mae was her faithful companion for many years and she enjoyed spending time with her children’s dogs Skye and Wicket. Peggy was known for her fantastic sense of humor, sarcastic wit and contagious laugh. She was always up for a good time and love good food, drink and music (especially if Journey was playing!). Time at the beach was her escape from reality.

Peggy is survived by her loving children Thomas Siedzikowski and Jennifer Booth (née Siedzikowski), daughter-in-law Shelley Siedzikowski (née Ridgway), son-in-law, Christopher Booth, and 5 grandchildren, Conor and Karly Booth, and Tyler, Cole, and Jake Siedzikowski. She is survived by her loving sister Deanna Lipka (née Leonard), brother-in-law, William Lipka, nephews Billy Lipka (Darlene) and David Lipka (Angelina), and 6 great nieces and nephews and their children. She is survived by lifetime friends Karen Schad (née Simmers) and Betty (Elizabeth) Campbell. She was predeceased by her nephew John Lipka.

A public Mass will be held Thursday, March 4th 11:30 AM with visitation starting at 10:30 am in the church, SS Simon and Jude, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester PA 19382.  Service will be live-streamed at https://www.facebook.com/thedonohuefuneralhome
