Bob Weir, age 68, died suddenly on February 16, 2014.

Bob was raised in Aston and graduated from St. Joseph's Parochial School and Sun Valley High School in Aston. He was a longtime resident of Philadelphia and employed by Waterfront Square in Philadelphia. A longtime mummer, Bob was a member of the Philadelphia String Bands where he played the accordion. He enjoyed his time spent as a part-time actor at the Hedgerow Theatre in Media. Bob was an AA sponsor for 28 years and devoted his life to the program and helping others.

He was the son of the late Veronica (Wrobel) Weir.

SURVIVORS: Children: Mary Kenney (Bob), Tara Louden (Tom), and Lori Stanislaus (Denrick), his former wife, Mary Hasson , and 7 grandchildren.

BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
